Canon EOS Rebel T1i takes Full HD Videos

Now this is going to disappoint those who bought the Canon 50D earlier and paid premium for it — Canon’s new entry level dSLR, the EOS Rebel T1i (commonly known as the Canon EOS 500D), now offers full HD video capture at 30fps.

Video capture using dSLR seems to be the in thing now — the Canon Rebel T1i features 16:9 720p HD video capture at 30 fps as well as a Full HD 1080p video capture at 20 fps, and a third option to record 4:3 standard TV quality (SD) video capture at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 fps. If you have a full set of lenses in your camera bag, you can do a lot of nice video effects with them.

On top of that, the LCD screen is 3″ with Live View functionalities. Add to that the 15.1MP capacity and you’ve got yourself a deal for under $1,000PHP 58,686INR 84,750EUR 952CNY 7,278. The kit will sell for $900PHP 52,817INR 76,275EUR 857CNY 6,550 while the body at $800PHP 46,948INR 67,800EUR 762CNY 5,823. Expect something in the vicinity of Php45,000USD 767INR 65,007EUR 730CNY 5,585 when it reaches the Philippines.

if you’re going for kit, go for D90, the T1i has a 18-55mm IS kit lens while the D90 has an 18-105mm VR kit lens.

wow!,the price for this camera is so worth it! ’cause its already 15.1 megapixels and it’s features are much better than the other cameras,good thing im getting one on b-day!,this would be the perfect b-day gift for myself! :D and i think the price of this camera is already P36,000 (in St. Francis Square beside SM MEGAMALL) I LOVE THIS CAMERA SO MUCH! :)
