The Zenmuse XT is designed for aerial thermal imaging and uses the technology developed by FLIR Systems. It is made to be used with the company’s drones and uses the same gimbal mount as DJI’s Zenmuse X3, X5 and X5R cameras.
The Zenmuse XT features an uncooled VOx Microbolometer thermal imager, high-sensitivity (50mK) infrared scanning at 640/30 fps or 336/60 fps depending on the camera model, up to 8x digital zoom, Digital Detail Enhancement, Smart Scene Optimization, and Active Contrast Enhancement.
DJI aims the Zenmuse XT for applications like power line inspection, solar panel inspection, search and rescue, precision agriculture, and fire fighting.
