Nikon has announced a new entry-level DSLR with SnapbBridge connectivity, allowing users to easily transfer photos to mobile devices via Bluetooth – the Nikon D3400.
The Nikon D3400 features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter, ISO sensitivity of 100 – 25600, and increased battery performance allowing up to 1,200 shots.
As for the SnapBridge connectivity, the D3400 uses a built-in Bluetooth low energy technology and works in tandem with the SnapBridge app. Once connected to a mobile device, all photos taken with the camera are automatically transferred.
The Nikon D3400 is priced at $649.99 with a AF-P DX Nikkor 18-55mm F3.5-5.6G VR kit lens, and $999.95 for the two lens kit which includes a AF-P DX Nikkor 70-300mm F4.5-6.3G ED (non-VR).
