With the IFA 2014 coming up this September, phone manufacturers are expected to unveil new products (like Samsung and its Galaxy Note 4). Well, Sony’s invite leaks out and it looks like they’re planning to announce a new phone and lens-style camera – could this be the Xperia Z3 and a new QX camera?
Rumors suggest that the successor to the Xperia Z2 is likely to be introduced during this year’s IFA event. And with the photos of a new Xperia phone in their invitation, it almost confirms the mentioned allegations. The Xperia Z3 is said to come with a Full HD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, and 3GB of RAM. In addition, we could expect the same 20.7MP rear cameara with f/2.0, ½.3 – type Exmor RS sensor to be incorporated in this new device.
That’s not all that’s printed on the invite. A lens-style camera suggests that a new QX device following the QX10 and QX100 is also set to make its first appearance during the event. With the current QX100 sporting a 20.2MP Exmos R CMOS sensor with f/1.8 – f/4.9 aperture and ISO ranging from 160 – 3200, we’re curious to see what the Japanese company has in store for the new successor.
The unveiling will be on the 3rd of September. Rest assured that we’ll be updating you guys as soon as we get new information.
