Sorsogon: Through the Lens of the Oppo Reno8 T 5G

Oppo invited us to a 3 days and 2 night trip on Sorsogon for us to explore the beauty of Sorsogon using the Oppo Reno 8T 5G.

We had a not-so-early 9AM call time at the NAIA Terminal 2 since our departure time from Manila was 10:45 and arrived at the Daragan Airport in Bicol. It is a fairly new airport which replaced the Legazpi Airport and from the airport we traveled around an hour and a half going to Siama Hotel where we will stayed for the rest of the trip.

The hotel was built in the middle of a huge coconut plantation. We were all amazed at the place, how quiet and peaceful just to be there. Lunch was served, and we were all handed our Oppo Reno 8T 5G to use and capture the beautiful scenes around Sorsogon.

On the first day of our “Summer Getaway Experience”, we certainly didn’t expect the rain to be nonstop so we ended up exploring some areas around the hotel that we stayed at. My first shot on the Oppo Reno 8T 5G was the large and gorgeous swimming pool of the hotel which took from the terrace of our room. I noticed that the 108MP camera was really maximized in most outdoor lighting conditions; even zooming in the photo were still sharp on the 108mp.

During the night, I used the night mode feature of the phone and the photos turned out to be good although the caveat is that it won’t use the 108MP mode. Nevertheless, the photos turned out better than I expected compared to the daily phone that I used.

The night ended early since we were all tired for the day and there are many activities that await us the next day.

On the second day, we ate breakfast at the hotel then headed to the famous Bulusan Lake in Sorsogon. We didn’t see the view we expected due to the non-stop rain, all we saw was the lake covered in thick fog. We took photos at lake despite the foggy weather which gives it a very cinematic and silent hill vibe.

After the lake, we ate lunch at Balay Buhay sa UMA Bee Farm. There were no bees due to the weather condition, so we just ate the delicacy of Sorsogon. After lunch, we headed straight to the Sorsogon Museum where we learned many things about the history of Sorsogon, one of which is that the current Museum of Sorsogon used to be a prison in the late 90s.

We shot photos also in the Museum, sample shots below.

Overall, I enjoyed the trip to Sorsogon and explored the camera capabilities of Oppo Reno 8T 5G, even though the weather is not what we expected for the summer getaway trip which turned out to be a rainy weather trip. We thank our friends from Oppo for inviting us for this event.

Our full review will be coming soon, so stay tuned.
