I would have totally forgotten about my weekly poll, had someone not reminded me about it. The last one ran for about two weeks. I’ve now changed the poll to ask readers what their blog stats tool of choice.
A lot of bloggers are stats whores like myself so we use multiple services. I guess one is not enough (especially if some of them aren’t that reliable).
Here’s the list of the most common ones and you can pick as many as 3 of your favorite tools in our poll:
There are more tools out there but I believe the list above represents 90% of what people actually use.
If you’re on a shared hosting environment, you may have AwStats and/or Webalizer pre-installed. Only check them as one of your choices if you actually review your site stats thru these apps on a regular basis. Otherwise, pick the ones that you check or depend on more than the others.
You can vote for as many as three stats tools you most frequently use.

I use Statcounter and Google Analytics previously but abandoned Google A later.
Miguel says:
What I use is not listed: WordPress.com’s, and FeedBurner.
I use Google A but not on a blog.
Eugene says:
Maybe you should’ve separated the log analysis tools from the JavaScript-based tools.
Abe Olandres says:
Looks like a lot of people are also using Reinvigorate. I’ve added it now in the poll. I’m also limiting the options to the free apps. Mint is cool but it costs $30 so a lot of bloggers don’t have access to it.
noelperlas says:
You didn’t mention what I use:
Reinvigorate.net (I wrote about it here)
and Mint (haveamint.com)
I also use these, although not as frequent:
MeasureMap
Google Analytics
Jaypee says:
I previously used Sitemeter and WP-Shortstats which I uninstalled and changed to WP-Slimstats. I also use Google Analytics and Reinvigorate which is not on your list. :)
