Got a couple of text messages and emails when I was out of the country about this short feature on the Entrepreneur Magazine. I didn’t know that interview I had a couple months ago would be published in the December issue so I grabbed a copy when I got home.
Ever since I read an issue of Entrepreneur Magazine in 2003, it has been a personal goal of mine to be featured in it (primarily for this specific business). Didn’t know it’ll take me 5 years to hit that little milestone.
In the September 2008 issue of Globe Masigasig Magazine (an insert of Entrepreneur Magazine), Anton, Noel and I were featured as professional bloggers. We had to schedule a visit to the Summit Media studio for a photoshoot. So, when I had another interview from a writer for Entrep Mag, I told him about the recent feature.
I thought they’d scrap the new one since it was almost the same feature so I was surprised to see it went thru all along. Anton was also included in the story.
Anyway, it’s no biggie. Just wanted to share this one in case you happen to read the December Issue. For my US readers, there’s also the issue of Filipinas Magazine with an article that included my predictions for 2009.

Yeah Abe I have a copy of that September 2008 issue and saw you on Masigasig. I even blogged about you. Congrats! you are an entrepreneur really!
Rich says:
Honestly speaking, I am not surprise to learn about this, Abe. You created yourself as an icon in the money making online industry in the Philippines.
I believe that 5 years of waiting is not long enough. Others wait for a lifetime. In this time of recession, we are opt to see how young entrepreneurs are still making it and you are setting a good example.
With regards to predictions about 2009, I may not be in the right position but I can see that online marketing will boost up since employment may still go down.
I can see individuals who will prefer to start their own small business, but will use the power of Internet to succeed.
Making money online is the best alternative so far, I think.
Congrats!

Wow, great feature! I find Entrepreneur Magazine really useful. It’s worth every penny; I don’t feel guilty at all when I buy it compared to other magazines which seem like a waste of money. Anyway, congrats on being featured! :-)
