We received information from a regional source that Alcatel has struck a 3-month deal with Lazada to distribute the Alcatel Flash Plus in the Philippines when it is released here in the Philippines this May.
This means from May to July, interested buyers may only source the Alcatel Flash Plus from Lazada (via credit card or Cash-on-Delivery). It will then be available in open channel afterwards.
Lazada has committed several thousand units of the Flash Plus during the launch date. The suggested retail price is pegged at Php6,990USD 119INR 10,098EUR 113CNY 867 based on insider source.
You can read more about our first impressions of the Flash Plus here.

Nice! For the specs and that price. This is definitely a keeper! I’m getting one :)
Welsh says:
Nice to know…
But, can we have the review on this before the selling date…
Para naman may feedback kami from yugatech on the capability of the phone aside from the specs alone…
Nothing beats on the actual experience review than just hearing the specs..
Thanks
klky says:

very bad move, alcatel. ruining the product before it even reaches the open market. lazada is a big joke.
JKisaragi says:
I hope they limit the sale to one unit per transaction.
Easy E says:
as expected.
JAMES says:
I always prefer buying on physical stores to run down my own assessment before leaving. That said and done, I’ll be the one to blame whether my unit is defective or not, thus having 7days replacement nearby feels a lot secured and the official warranty tells more about it. But as I said, prefer, others might not, I also purchased items before at Widget City and Kimstore.
This is one on my list together with Meizu M1 Note, Asus Zenfone 2 (Quad-core), SKK Lynx, Firefly (Ulefone?), CM Flare S3 Power?, Happy Mobile Aspire, Lenovo K3, Lenovo Golden Warrior? etc
NotaSheep says:
The Meizu M1 note is GREAT but with one (two if you add the 16gb storage) TERRIBLE flaw, speaker volume is freaken low, and it’s by design sadly. Tested with 3 units on the same store (since they only have those available) and they all have the curse of “Max settings low output volume” :(
course i can’t really compare it with any other model besides my old Cherry Gem which is 3x louder than the Meizu M1 note :P
gadgeteer says:
Here are the reasons why it is safer to buy from a physical store than sa online store specially Lazada.
1. you cannot see the product before it is handed to you, for all you know it has a hidden defect or a dead pixel which will be hard to prove and may not be replaced. SO YOU ARE STUCK WITH !!!
2. All service service centers honor a real invoice for warranty, a printed invoice from lazada with no serial number on the paper printed just on an ordinary printer is a real big risk, again it will cost you more in the end.
3. if you pay by credit card and lazada’s computer or someone inside gets access to your information, he might use your card details for credit card fraud.
4. if you pay by cash on delivery, you are limited to inspection of 5 minutes before you pay, unlike on a physical store, you take your time and can scutinize the items
xyberxy says:
Warning, alcatel don’t update android version, especially mid ranger. bought one touch scribe HD, still on 4.2.2 nice!
Jd says:
Very true! They do not upgrade their OS. Basically you’ll get stucked with it.It’s quite a downer actually and ever since then I lost interest with this brand.
Sone says:
Diba kapag sa Lazada eh walang warranty ? Kagaya din ba to sa Zenfone 2 ?
Flash says:
actually depende kung sinong seller, if Alcatel Phil ang seller, you are in good hands kasi for sure 1 year warranty yun. pero kung third party ang seller, yun, definitely walang warranty. or if lazada ang seller, malamang service warranty lang yun or limited warranty.
i hope i am making sense. basta ganun. :D
