I have contemplated this before and I thought that guest blogging would be a nice idea to have on my blog. But, will it work? Will another blogger be interested in taking the front seat here and do an entry or two while I’m away and on vacation? Remains to be seen but it sure is an interesting thought.
I will be out of town for about a week next week. This is an overdue vacation actually, having been not able to go home and visit my folks back in the province for almost 3 years now. I am also excited to get more content to add to the travel blog as well.
Anyway, I can do some future post on a couple of articles I wrote last year for a book and a government magazine/newsletter. I never actually got a copy of the book or the magazine so might as well re-publish them here.
While we’re on the topic of guest blogging… if you have some spare time and like to contribute a post or two, I’d be glad to have a couple of people on board. :D What do you guest bloggers get in return? Well, tell me something I can afford. *hehe*
If this blog is an exact equivalent of PTB, I’m sure to get a dozen or more interested people lining up right now. But, alas, it’s just Yugatech. *hehehe*
Which reminds me, we’re up on giving out another round of invites for a new set of PTB contributors soon. *hint*hint*

I like to join as your guest blogger pero mahirap pala ang market mo. Hindi na lang cguro.

Hi Greg,
Yes, guest bloggers should stay within the niche topic of the blog they are guesting. The idea is really to contribute new ideas, concepts or open up discussion on debatable topics.
There are actually very few Filipinos blogging about software development and usability. Two people I have in mind is Migs and Jolo.

37signals (www.37signals.com) did this but not because the authors will be on vacation :) They wanted to share other useful information (not just a post about their dogs) to their readers. One time they had a guest blogger posting on how to start a business.
I am actually looking for Pinoy bloggers who would allow me to to be their guest. But, I am looking for bloggers who share my interest which is software development and usability. Most Pinoy blogs I see are either too broad (in my opinion) or on day-to-day personal experiences.
Regards.
