OPPO’s latest flip phone, the Find N3 Flip, continues to improve its offering by introducing the world’s first triple-camera system in this category, upping the likes of Samsung and solidifying its partnership with Hasselblad.
Compared to the Find N2 Flip, the OPPO Find N3 Flip got a little chunkier — 7.8mm vs. 7.5mm in thickness and 198 grams vs. 191 grams.
This could very well be attributed to the additional camera sensor added to the Find N3 Flip (triple vs dual camera) compared to its predecesor.
From a design perspective, one of the major inclusions in the Find N3 Flip is the Alert Slider, a feature we normally find in flagship OnePlus devices.
Everything else seemed practically the same as before — the 6.8-inch FHD+ Flex AMOLED main display, the 3.26-inch AMOLED Cover Display, 4,300mAh Li-Po battery with 44W SUPERVOOC charging and the 32MP front camera.
Of course, the chipset has been upgraded to a Mediatek Dimensity 9200, and you also get more RAM at 12GB.
The focus of this iteration is mainly on the triple camera setup which was co-engineered with Hasselblad. This is the first triple-camera system on a flip phone, which shows OPPO can manage to out-pace competitors such as Samsung which pioneered the foldable smartphone market.
The Find N3 Flip’s triple-rear cameras are tuned by Hasselblad. The main camera is Sony IMX890 50MP F1.8 main with PDAF and OIS. This is paired with a Sony IMX581 32MP F2.0 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and PDAF. The third camera is
a Sony IMX709 48MP F2.2 ultra-wide, with AF support.

We’ve initially done our suit of benchmarks and battery tests last week but the results were not what we’d expect coming from the Find N2 Flip.
Coincidentally, we got a firmware update just this morning so we re-tested the benchmarks and got much better results.
We will likewise re-test the battery benchmarks but that will appear on our full next week.
Another major update on the Find N3 Flip is the software side, mostly in the Cover Screen. OPPO is continuously adding more popular apps to run on the Cover Screen. As of the latest update this morning a few more apps were added — YouTube, Tiktok, GMail, Netflix, Keep Notes, Maps, YouTube Music and Google Wallet.
OPPO is also working on making this feature updates on the Find N2.
Stay tuned for our full review of the OPPO Find N3 Flip next week together with the Philippine launch of the device.
