Microsoft has released to the general public their own take own Android customization.
Arrow Launcher used to be a closed beta application but it is now available for download through the Google Play Store. As described on its app page, “Arrow, a Microsoft Garage project, is the simple, personal launcher for Android that offers a radical simplification of the Android experience.”
It learns the user’s habit, like which app is mostly used and automatically arranges it on the homescreen for fast access. It helps you quickly find your contacts based on your activity. A built-in reminder and recent tabs is also available.
Similar to iOS, you can swipe up to access the customizable dock with key setting shortcuts. The app available for download with support for two languages at the moment: English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
I thought it was so funny how on the show “Arrow” Microsoft Windows was always making cameo appearances (Diggle using Bing to search for H.I.V.E. was the best) and now they named their launcher Arrow
It’s like Nokia’s Z Launcher..
