Asphalt 8: Airborne due tomorrow

The latest iteration of Gameloft’s car racing title, Asphalt 8: Airborne, is set to hit the two biggest app marketplaces (Google Play Store and Apple iTunes) tomorrow and, based on the game teasers, it seems that A8 has the makings to be the best racing game on the mobile platform to date.

Apart from the 8 new tracks, which includes the Nevada desert and rain-soaked thoroughfare of Tokyo just to name a few, Gameloft has also added two new Multiplayer game modes to the mix; Gate Drift and Infected.

Asphalt 8

The former, as its name implies, require players to drift through various gates; the more gates, the higher their score is. Infect, on the other hand, is more of like a game of tag rather than a typical racing game where the player needs to hit a car within 20 seconds in order to “regain the car’s health” and close out the round.

But what sets the A8 apart from the previous installments is giving the player the ability to perform gnarly maneuvers in mid-air after jumping off of a ramp. This, along with the revamped graphics implementation which allows for a more realistic experience, makes the all the more worthy of its asking price.

Speaking of price, the Asphalt 8: Airborne will be retailed for $0.99PHP 58INR 84EUR 0.94CNY 7 and, as mentioned earlier, will be available on both Android and iOS starting tomorrow.

Update: We just got word that Asphalt 8 will also be released on Windows Phone 8 platform. However, there’s still no exact time when the game will be available.

Released na sa IOS App Store. I searched thru the Gameloft catalogue in the developer info.
884 MB lang ung file size as compared to 1.4 GB file size ng Asphalt 7 (current update)
Compatible with: IPhone 4 or later, Ipad 2 or later, Ipad mini and iPod touch 4th gen and later. IOS 5.0 lang yung kailangan para mag install.
Price is 0.99$ = 43 pesos in local currency
Mura lang naman siya katulad ng Asphalt 7. Hindi ako muna magdodownload dahil hinihintay ko pa siya magiging libre.

Seriously, if you want the game so bad, buy it and support Gameloft. Don’t be a fucking cheapstake, the game is just $0.99.

OK lang naman magsideload ng Gameloft apps. Kasi k*pal naman yang freemium model ng Gameloft mapipilitan ka din magbayad ng IAP’s. Lol

Sorry to say guys but I’m into free apps. I only buy when I have time.

Guys sinusuporta ko rin ang Gameloft. I also own Asphalt 7 (Downloaded it free since Christmas). If you don’t have the luxury for this, punta na lang kayo green hills para magsideload ng IOS apps.
Since I am only a student, this is only my opinion.

Nice game (gfx are awesome) but still prefer MW over A8. Controls are a bit sluggish (hindi responsive masyado yung touch controls). And its a battery hog (sucked 10% of my batt; 2 races played)

kung gusto nyo ng free for ios, hanap kayo ng installer ng kuaiyong or 25pp. still searching for android.di ko kasi alam kung kakayanin ng phone ko yung game(lenovo a706).
