Assassin’s Creed: Pirates hits App Store & Play Store

Following the launch of the 6th installment of Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft has launched the mobile version of the game for Android and iOS called Assassin’s Creed: Pirates.

Mobile users will play the role of the Alonzo Batilla and will follow his epic journey from being a lowly captive to becoming a full-blown pirate in search of La Buse’s lost treasure.

You’ll set sail across the Carribean with a battle-ready galleon, complete with a bunch of scallywags, which can be customized and upgraded according to your liking.

As mentioned earlier, the Assassin’s Creed: Pirates is now available on Apple App Store and on Google Play Store. It isn’t cheap though, costing USD4.99 to install it. But judging by the trailer and the screenshots, the game seems pretty promising.

Played AC3 and AC4, yes there were naval combat but the essence of assassin’s creed is obviously being a badass fucking assassin. A disgrace to the series.

I understand ubi in bringing their title to android for the purpose of encouraging other casual android gamers to witness the AC series, but as a gamer, this is a waste of time and precious money.

AC4’s pirate theme wasn’t even good tbh.

  2. Real Gamer says:

Sorry to say this, but this game does not deserve the “Assassin’s Creed” in its title because it does not even have the brutal and stealthy gameplay of Assassin’s Creed games in consoles and PCs. Not even worth pirating, IMO.

This game is blasphemous to the brutal epicness of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

I’d rather play my copy Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles on my old Nintendo DS than to pick this blasphemous naval battle game sh!t.

    • Real Gamer says:

Ubisoft could’ve done better by making this game at the very least a supplementary app to Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, just like what Rockstar did when they created the iFruit app for iOS and Android to supplement Grand Theft Auto V.

On a positive note, the graphics indeed looks promising and let’s just hope that Ubisoft will create a mobile Assassin’s Creed just like what they did with Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles that’s available for Nintendo DS, iOS and Android.

I hate to admit it, but this game and PC/Console version are indeed world’s apart. :(

does this game require internet connection to play?

  4. RJ says:
