Build BB apps with the BlackBerry App Generator

We were invited this morning to a briefing and workshop for the BlackBerry App Generator. It’s a web-based tool powered by Mippin, that converts Facebook Fanpages, blogs, online galleries, or a website’s RSS into a native BlackBerry app without the need of any coding skills.

Mr. David Patterson, Head of Alliance Operations APAC, at Research In Motion, as well as John Bibal and Pete Doligosa of PinoyBBDev, were there to give us a demo on how to use the BlackBerry App Generator and publish our own apps. All you need to do is follow three simple steps:

Step 1: Sign up for a BlackBerry App World Vendor Account
Step 2: Create your App using BlackBerry App Generator
Step 3: Publish to BlackBerry World.

Step 2 is the most exciting part as it involves some creativity. It is so simple that we were able to make our own sample for YugaTech in a matter of minutes.
