COMELEC Halalan 2016 mobile app for better election knowledge

We’re just weeks away from the national elections and there are a lot of happenings here and there. With all the hackings and bizarre news prior to the event, you might want to check out the dedicated app made by COMELEC and ABS-CBN.

The COMELEC Halalan 2016 app has been around for a few months already but it hasn’t made much buzz. Since the COMELEC website has been hacked and is still currently down as of writing, this app is the go-to source for your information needs.

First off, it has an information finder for voters including your registration status, precinct number, and poll place. If you’d explore the app, it has a helpful sample ballot feature wherein you can make a draft of your current choices among the list of candidates, both from local and national positions. Also, there’s the basic information about the candidates listed in the app including photos and key data.

Since it’s made by ABS-CBN, there’s an updated feed from their news department and the Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo (BMPM) feature.
