Apple has finally released its latest operating systems for the iPad and Mac — iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura.
iPadOS 16 brings new features like Messages now supporting edit, undo send, and mark conversations as unread, Mail has new smart tools like reminders and automatic alerts, new iCloud Shared Photo Library, new security and collaboration features to Safari including Passkeys, Freeform real-time collaboration space, weather app, visual look up and live text updates, Reference mode and Display Zoom for the new iPad Pros, and Stage Manager with full external display support.
iPadOS 16 is available starting today for iPad (5th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), and all iPad Pro models.
macOS Ventura, on the other hand, brings Continuity Camera so users can use the iPhone as a webcam, Stage Manager, Passkeys and new collaboration tools in Safari, new Mail improvements, an enhancement to Messages, iCloud Shared Photo Library, improved Spotlight, and improved security to make the Mac more resistant to attack with new tools like Rapid Security Response.
