It’s now possible to upload photos on Instagram’s mobile site

You no longer need the Instagram app to upload photos as the company is now rolling out the ability to upload photos through its mobile website.

When accessing Instagram’s site on a mobile browser, you can see a ported version of the app with the ability to upload photos from either your gallery or camera. There is still a limitation to the mobile site as you can’t upload videos, add filters, upload to Stories, or send a direct message.

Photo editing is limited, too. You can only rotate or toggle between the square or wide crop the photos.

Apart from the photo upload, the mobile site also features a new condensed version of the Explore page. There’s still no news, for now, if changes are also coming to the desktop version of the website.
