Instagram released a new app that will let you create a photo collage for direct posting to your account. The Facebook-owned company made Layout app from Instagram to respond to the massive trend of its users to post a collage of photos.
The new app basically combines multiple photos from your gallery to a number of layouts available. You can easily find a person’s photo through the Faces option. The Photo Booth option is for impulsive moments to take a photo while doing a layout. Basics like rearranging, zooming, resizing, flipping, rotating and mirror effects are also on board.
While the app is not much of a difference from any collage apps available, it is nice to see Instagram expanding their own set of editing apps.
Layout from Instagram is currently available for iOS through the App Store while the Android version is said to be available in the coming months. No word on the Windows Phone version yet.
