According to the report, the Philippines is top 6 (out of 10) at 4.25% when it comes to the distribution of Android malware detections by country. Leading the list is the United States, accounting for 12.74%.
“The high prevalence of Android malware detections in developing countries can be attributed to the extensive use of relatively unsecured third-party app stores in those countries.” said the report.
That said, Android users should be careful when downloading apps/APKs from unreliable sources. To be safe, just download your apps through the Google Play Store.

or yung most Filipino , rich or poor, hindi nag u-update sa kanilang phones natatakot masira nila o di kaya hindi alam ang benefits ng pagupgrade, *sigh* I really cant blame their ignorance since theyre too lazy to find out themselves…
considering na “developed” countries ang kasama natin…
just proves android just sucks when it comes to security…
not reliable.. why there’s no china there? it means the malware on android phone is a normal app to china.. LOL :D
