Want to kill time on your iPhone or iPad this weekend? Then you might want to try GBA4iOS, an emulator app that lets you play Game Boy games on your iOS device.
GBA4iOS is free software for the iPhone and iPad that is basically an emulator for Game Boy games. It is now on version 2.0 which is designed from the ground up for iOS 7. It comes with new features such as Sustain Button, Controller Vibration, Dropbox sync, and the ability to play your own music during games.
Installation is very easy as you only need to visit this site, http://gba4ios.angelxwind.net/download/ 13, on your iOS device and tap on the Download link. It will then ask to install the GBA4iOS app on your device. One requirement though before you run the app is to set your device’s date back at least one day in the past. Once running you can set the date back to normal.
Downloading and importing your favorite Game Boy ROMs is also pretty easy to do. The app has a built in browser so you can just visit your favorite ROM hosting site, download your game directly, and it will be automatically added to your game list.
GBA4iOS 2.0 has full support for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games, and runs on any OS device running iOS 7 or higher.
