Sakay.ph launches its new service called Traincheck that lets MRT passengers check train congestion levels to avoid long lines.
How the service works is by keying in your station entry point and pick whether you’re going southbound or northbound. You also need to indicate how long you are willing to wait and Traincheck will let you know the current congestion level, best time to leave, and a summary of congestion for the day.
The company says its web app uses historical data to predict the congestion levels.
For now, it is only available for MRT but according to the site, users will soon be able to check for LRT lines as well.
