To explain Spotify DJ, just imagine having a personalized DJ that can curate a personalized playlist that’s full of different genres, music you love, and music you’ve never listened to that it thinks you’ll like.
It also learns by checking what music you listen to, what playlists and artists it finds you listening to on repeat and learns to custom tune the music it puts out to suit your taste.

The Spotify DJ’s voice is actually based on their Head of Cultural Partnerships, Xavier Jernigan, and is likewise given his nickname “X”.
His voice will guide you on what’s going on and what songs will be coming up next while giving off the vibe of a classic pop radio host.
The best way we can describe using Spotify DJ is that it felt like having a dedicated radio station that was made just for you cause one of the issues we’ve always had with radios is that the music they play is generally not suited to everyone’s taste.

It’s also great that Spotify DJ incorporates songs that it finds you listening to frequently while mixing them with songs you have never heard of so that you may discover your new favorite song and add them to your favorites to listen to a hundred times before getting tired of it like we all do.
Spotify DJ also doesn’t stick to just one artist, playlist, or genre of music as we noticed, it usually jumps to a different artist or genre of music every 5 songs, this gives it a sense of variety that keeps you entertained.
