Symbian Belle update for Nokia N8, E6, C7, etc now out

Symbian Belle is now available for a number of Nokia smartphones, starting with the Nokia N8, E7, E6, C7 and several others. The software update was made available in the Philippines starting February 7.

Updating your Nokia smartphone is pretty simple and straightforward. Just make sure you have the Nokia PC Suite 3.3 (or higher) to activate the software update.

According to Nokia, the following handsets are now available for the update in the Philippines:

* Nokia C6-01
* Nokia C7-00
* Nokia E6-00
* Nokia E7-00
* Nokia N8-00
* Nokia X7-00

Was able to update my Nokia E7 to Symbian Belle in about 30 minutes. The device felt a bit snappier and the UI has completely changed after the update to Belle.

Because only the high-end phones can support Belle. Phones with Symbian s60 5th edition already lags, how would you expect it to run Belle?

Symbian Belle was introduced just the last quarter of last year. That’s already 365 days for you? :)

Yey my long wait is over. I am now using belle on my N8. Sobrang ganda compared sa Anna.

I have just upgraded my Nokia N8 from Symbian Anna to Belle.
And here are my observations so far:
1. Better and more polished UI.
2. All of the folders that I created to organize my apps according to category are now gone so lahat ng apps ko ngayon ay halo-halo na sa main menu (whether preinstalled or downloaded from the Nokia (Ovi) Store since wala nang predefined folders sa Belle. Pero pwede ka pa ring mag-create ng folder.
3. Pull down menu (ala Android)
4. Napansin ko rin medyo bumagal ng konti yung response ng device ko kasi sa tingin ko mas snappy yung Symbian Anna.
