Temple Run for Windows Phone 8 now available

Windows Phone 8 users who are fans of the Imangi Studios game Temple Run need not feel left out (sort of) as the game is now available for download at the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Nothing new to expect on the WP version of the app. Gameplay is still the same, still addictive, but it’s gonna feel like you’re playing a classic now that Temple Run 2 is around.

Temple-Run

Temple Run for WP is on version 1.5 and so far has an overall rating of four stars out of five. Some users report that graphics are great but misses out on smoothness and controls. The app is 23MB in size, so if you want to give it a try you can head out to this link and download.

    • have you tried it? wp doesn’t actually ‘look good’ on print (ads etc.) pero it’s actually fun to use (just my opinion)

    • are you sure??? well on my opinion ok po sya na na smart phone… mas fluid po ang os nya though un nga lang kulng pa po un mga apps nya

    • yes dave i have lumia 920 which i curse everyday since after a week na nasakin to. boring sya at walang apps na maganda. i wouldnt recommend this brick of garbage to anyone kahit kaaway ko pa.

    • yes wenks im sure. its fluid ya, other than that wala kana magagawa sa wp8. swap tayo ng note 2 hehehe sino my gusto yellow nga lang kulay nya

    • at aso..i have my galaxy note 2 at 3 months ko pa nagamit to, kung gusto mo palit tau sa lumia 920 mo

    • To each his own. Kung masaya ka sa android, windows phone, ios at kung ano man edi maganda. Kung hindi, ibenta mo at lumipat ka. Personally, masaya ako sa windows phone. Nasubukan ko na android at ios. Nag android ako bago pa man naging sikat ito. Ganito din ang sitwasyon dati. “Walang apps ang android.” Pero ngayon madami na itong apps. Dadami din ang apps ng windows phone. Lumipat ako galing android kasi nagsasawa na ako sa LAG. Kahit may project butter pa yan may lag pa rin. Nagsasawa na ako kakapalit ng rom. Saka yun interface, sabog sabog, iba itsura depende sa app. Kung gusto mo mag palit ng launcher, hindi naman consistent itsura niya para sa lahat ng app. Sakit lang sa ulo. Kung ayos lang sayo yun mga ganun at mas importante sayo mga appz edi mag android ka. But windows phone is no way as you call it “garbage.” It is a promising new o.s. especially with windows phone 8 now that it is based on microsoft’s nt core. Exciting ang prospects ng apps sa wp8 kasi mas madali mag code for windows 8 at windows phone 8 ng sabay. Things can only get interesting for nokia, wp and wp users.

    • totoo po sinasabi ni aso, me gs2 at lumia 800 ako pero kadalasan nasa kwarto lang ung lumia, isang malaking alarm clock hahaha. angry birds na original nga me bayad pa eh. wala ka magawa, swipe swipe lang up and down sa tiles, un lang.

      @symo

    • @chigusa: I can’t imagine the lag on a 600mhz device. Baka parang slideshow na yun. Hahaha! I’ve owned and handled extensively a number of high end androids from htc desire to galaxy note. Include in that list the horrendous acer 500. Even the galaxy note lags on the latest jellybean software. Don’t use the argument “e hindi naman latest hardware yun e!” The galaxy note is still a modern smartphone and has above decent specs. Putting quad cores on a phone just to kill lag is like using a shotgun to kill a fly. I’m sorry if you don’t like the simplicity and elegance of the live tiles, but there are others who like it. Like I said before apps will come sooner or later. Personally I love wordament on my wp. Try downloading that app, you might like it too. There are brilliant free games on wp. Try monster up, puzzle craft, square off, super voltage 2, world of rabbit. There are even emulators available (for wp8 anyway) like vba8 and purple cherry. Just waiting for a playstation emulator. A number of good gameloft games are also now available for wp. And to further prove my point, even more games are coming.

    • @symo – tama ka sa “To each is own”. I’m a windows phone user and is very well satisfied with it. Why? My primary reason of getting a smartphone is to to be able to sync my MS Outlook and OneNote on it. Also, yung integration to Skydrive din. I normaly just dump my documents on the cloud and open it anytime on Office mobile.

  2. instagram sana next then other popular apps

  3. Medyo may bugs pa ata ang Temple run.
@aso >haha…. Wp8 is simple and smooth. sa tingin ko nga apps lang ang dahilan kaya nagdadalawang isip mag switch ang iba :)

    • darren philip its really garbage – wp8. pls stop recommending their phones. cgro kung low end, pero in high end phones. its a piece of garbage (if i may say it one more time

so after nag sawa ka sa cute tiles nila, ano na ang sunod? shit i got tired of this brick after 2 days. puro mp4 lang kaya i play. cant watch movies na galing sa pirate bay lolz

punta ka windows store walanh wenta apps

    • @aso di ka ba maalam magconvert? Even on my android phone i still need to convert movies downloaded from torrents.

    • i dont want to convert. matagal at sayang ang oras, hassle para sakin.

kung naka android ka get an app like rockplayer or mxplayer sa playstore. it plays everything. yan ginagawa ng pinsan ko. kung naka iphone ka you can get vlc.

kaya lalo ako naaasar sa wp8 ko

    • Bakit ka pa nagcoconvert sa Android? Just get VLC or MXplayer, ipe-play na nya yan.

Heck, sell it or swap it for a phone that you will like. Bitchin here wont do any good. :D

    • @chigusa: I agree that you can change roms on android devices but each rom I have tried have small glitches that made me go back to the stock rom. Cyanogen mod, although a great and lean rom removes much functionality from the standard camera software. Windows phone 7 is not upgradable to windows phone 8 because of a number of HARDWARE changes made by microsoft for the platform, one of which is putting a UEFI boot for security. Additionally, most of the wp 8 changes are for hardware. However, I believe there is no reason for wp8 devices not to be upgradable to windows phone blue or wp 9. In fact a number of updates that are coming have already been leaked namely: GDR2 and GDR3.

Support game developers by buying their game. Hindi puro piratebay nasa isip.

    • +1 kay someone : )

  7. To each his own talaga. It just works esp sa pang araw araw na gamit. Marami ng magagandang apps sa wp. Hindi lahat ng tao apps lang hanap.

  8. i don’t know but there’s nothing really special with WP. i’ve tried it with my friend’s unit as in wala talaga. sobrang limited ang apps. that’s why my friend is planning to shift to XZ na. please don’t excuse android for being laggy kasi depende yan sa unit mo. gaya nga nung sabi nung sa taas, baka 600 mhz lang ang processor niyan. LOL.

try to buy a higher android devices and see it for your self the performance. :)

  9. used android, ios and wp8 respectively, sticking to my IOS, shameless plug, selling my htc 8s, head over to http://www.sulit.com.ph/index.php/view+classifieds/id/9032627/HTC+8s?event=Search+Ranking,Position,1-1,1 for more details.

  10. isn’t this a little too late already? Or wala pa rin talagang apps sa WP

  11. sa bb10. Meron na?
