In the video, the Apple iPhone 17 family is out in full view. It may be more difficult to spot the difference between the base iPhone 16/17 models, versus the Pro variants. Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 17 Air is pegged to come in at a razor-thin 5.5mm, which is almost 3mm thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It seems that Apple wants to expand the range of its iPhones in order to appeal to a larger demographic of buyers. When the iPhone 17 Pro Max was originally announced, it attracted mixed reactions from the usual iPhone crowd. As a matter of disclosure, I have not substantially used an iPhone since the iPhone X, and except maybe for a couple of weeks on the iPhone 15 Pro.
