Users of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will soon have the capability to shoot RAW on the Android 5.1.1 update -- just like with DSLRs. It's also been reported that for the features to work, a Galaxy S6 is needed with a camera app "that has full support for Lollipop's Camera2 API."
