I rounded up three (3) UMPC in the 8.9 inch range and set them side by side to see which one gets your money's worth -- Acer Aspire One, HP 2133 Mini-note and the Asus Eee PC 900. The Eee PC 901 which comes with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz is not available locally while the faster 1.6GHz HP 2133 is still expensive at Php35k. The HP 2133 mini-notebook PC announced last February this year is now out and on sale. The HP 2133 mini-notebook is selling for Php29,990 (they got 0% deferred payment for 6 months). HP did not spare a single centimeter in the keyboard and squeezed them into the 10-inch frame, an effort that attracted a lot of buyers even int he first generation Mini 2133. HP took notice of a lot of the issues concerning their first mini notebook (HP Mini 2133) and addressed them in the succeeding models.
