We received over 5,000 votes in our recent camera blind test between the iPhone 6S Plus and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. There were a total of 9 different scenes ranging from low light to high dynamic range and these are the results of the blind tests: For reference, Camera A is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ while Camera B is the iPhone 6S Plus. Close-up, outdoors: The iPhone 6S Plus had a slight edge over the Galaxy S6 Edge+ with 54% of the votes or 8% difference. Skyline and Skyscrapers: On both scenarios where we took photos of the sky, the iPhone 6S Plus managed to pull away from the Galaxy S6 Edge+ with as much as 82% of the votes. Macro Shot: The S6 Edge Plus got higher votes of 63% compared to the 37% of the iPhone 6S Plus. Indoor, low-light shot: The Galaxy S6 Edge+ was slightly preferred at 56% over the 44% of the iPhone 6S Plus. Dark, low-light: In much darker scenarios, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ won over the iPhone 6S Plus with a huge 38% margin. HD Video Recording: With video recording, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ took a huge margin over the iPhone 6S Plus with 79% of the votes.
