The ROG lineup includes the Flow X13, Zephyrus M16, Zephyrus G14, Zephyrus G15, and Strix G15/G17 gaming laptops. The ASUS ROG STRIX GL502 gaming notebook that the company launched a couple of weeks ago is now available for purchase at Villman. In addition to the Gamer Series motherboards, ASUS Philippines also launched three graphics cards under the STRIX lineup, namely the GTX 750 Ti (which we’ve reviewed just recently), GTX 970 OC and GTX 980 OC. The STRIX GTX 750 Ti, on the other hand, can be had for Php8,720 and is now available on ASUS’ partner distributors and retails store in the country. Only a day after the official launch of the new AMD Radeon R9 300 series graphics cards, Asus Philippines already lent us a Strix Radeon R9 380 DirectCU II to take out for a spin. Introduction The Strix Radeon R9 380 is Asus’ take on the R9 380 which is one of the latest graphics card from AMD. Design and Construction Like other graphics cards under the Strix lineup, the Strix Radeon R9 380 sports an owl-inspired plastic shroud that holds two 11-bladed PWM-controlled fans that aids in keeping the graphics card cool under load. Rounding up the list of the Strix Radeon R9 380’s external components are the video out ports located at the back of the card.
