Ookla has released the results of their Speedtest Global Index rankings for April 2022, showing median speeds of 19.45 Mbps for mobile and 55.21 Mbps for fixed broadband.
Going into detail, mobile median download speed is 19.45 Mbps while the upload is at 5.52 Mbps. Fixed broadband has a median download speed of 55.21 Mbps and an upload of 52.10 Mbps.
To compare, global performance for mobile is at 30.75 Mbps while global fixed broadband is at 63.46 Mbps.
UAE leads in mobile download speed at 134.48 Mbps, while Singapore leads fixed broadband at 207.61 Mbps.
