PLDT sucks and the service for the Filipino, totally fucking crap! PLDT used to monopolize for nothing but poor quality and foolish concepts of products and services. They kept on thinking about MONEY, MONEY, MONEY… and MONEY for PLDT employees. No wonder that those office policies are just a sugar-coating thing. From HR to the upper positions of PLDT are just dumb and not listening for the rights of PLDT employees to raise the fucking complains and concerns. They don’t care about the problem of PLDT. They became political with nothing to hear, nothing to think anything and nothing to share out plans. The goddamn PLDT service is truly horrible! That service is totally fucking ridiculous. The customer service is always a fucking contractual thing. Those service are just coming from hell! I’m not wondering for the better service of PLDT for almost 80 years in the Philippines and they kept on going dumb and even dumber. Pissed off, MANNY PANGILINAN!

One of the better ways to consolidate all praise | rants for PLDT.
PLDT aims to reach out the 80%+ subscribers who don’t have the means to go online and do what you people suggest. Consider also the 90+ % of the population who can’t even spell Google. Yes, people who can Google doesn’t even need the daily newspaper. We still have a low percentage of PC ownership. Try telling your grandma to google, she’ll dance thinking google is a dancing thing.
The service is aimed to serve everyone. Even the googlers. It has a medical service that can provide medical advise on the phone which is almost close to the 911 service in US. And they are provided by registered nurses and practicing doctors.
It’s also aimed to provide you quick answers on: “Why wouldn’t my car start” or “why do I smell gas on my kitchen”.
Just in case a googler faints or needs immediate medical attention, its still best to get to talk to a doctor with in the first 10 minutes of the incident. Or… go Google. Maybe Mymiamia can :)

Out of curiousity, I tried this “Ask PLDT 101-811 Service†but was redirected to call 171. Much to my surprise, I was informed that this service is only for “Vibes” Subscribers. ~sigh~
I could just use Google lolz
“The first 30 information requested per month are free but subsequent requests will be charged Php2.50 each.”
Will all the business that PLDT makes money with. isn’t that enough? they should provide this service for free.
I’ve seen this kind of service in one of David Pogue’s (NYT’s tech columnist) podcasts. This is pretty common in U.S.
Good thing PLDT has come up with the same service.
