Globe Telecom has just announced that it will start accepting pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 23, 2012 and will offer it on various postpaid plans.
Globe Telecom announced that it is launching Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S3, under its suite of fully-customizable postpaid plans bundled with unlimited mobile internet.
Globe subscribers can avail of the Samsung Galaxy S3 under My Super Plan Unli Surf Combo, which comes with unlimited mobile browsing, bonus call and text services, and choice of unli boosters for the ultimate smartphone experience. With My Super Plan Unli Surf Combo, Globe provides users with unlimited surfing, their gadget of choice, and freebies all in one subscription. This plan also helps maximize the features of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
“As the first Philippine operator to bring Samsung Galaxy S1 and S2 to the Philippines, Globe is proud to be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S3 once again, powered by our portfolio of personalized and fully-customizable data plans and backed by a stronger and more reliable HSPA+ network which we continue to aggressively expand nationwide,†said Peter Bithos, Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business.
Globe did not indicate which plans it will come free but we estimate it will be under Unli Surf Combo 2499 and Unli Surf Combo 3799. For My Super Plan, it could be free on Plan 2499 and 3799. Unfortunately though, there is no word on a prepaid kit plan.
Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 will begin on May 23, 2012 via www.globe.com.ph/galaxys3. New subscribers can call the Globe Sales Hotline via toll-free number (02) 730-1010 or visit www.globe.com.ph/galaxys3 to place their orders. For Platinum subscribers, they can get in touch with their Relationship Managers for reservations.

Is he living in a make-believe part of the country? Stronger and more reliable ka dyan! E dito nga lang sa Quezon City, walang kakwenta kwenta signal ng 3G nyo. Parati na lang GPRS o EDGE. Naka-unlimited ka nga na data plan pero ubod naman ng bagal at napaka-unstable ng signal.
itachi1 says:
Same experience here in Cainta pero with Smart naman… doesn’t get past GPRS and frequent signal fluctuation. I guess they need to rule out these dead zones before these two telcos making a press statement about being “stronger and more reliable,” and being “the country’s biggest network.” Live more nga pero in misery naman…

Bakit kaya di nila i-offer yung HTC One X?

Sir Abe, I’m thinking this will be out free @ plan 3799, as I recall the two previous Galaxy phones were released free at that plan.
Galaxy says:
Globe’s Galaxy S2 was free under Unlisurf plan 2499 last 2011. But free only if you apply at globe website :). I don’t know if its still like that today. Its free under 3799 if you apply directly at their stores.
hahaha0108 says:
can i buy it directly??with out subscribing to plan????and how much the 64 gb??

I thought Globe was a solid Apple dorks..Caught me unguarded this time. Give me a decent plan and perhaps, I might switch carriers and grab this, this Masterpiece. It has “My Precious” written all over it. xD

If you want a slightly bigger screen and all those drawing stuff, go for the Note. If you want a quad-core hi-resolution beast, go for the S3.
itachi1 says:
IMHO, if you want a slightly bigger screen and all those drawing stuff, go for the Note. If you want a quad-core hi-resolution beast, go for the S3. You may try at their Business Center, though they may refer you to the website as well.
Sir Abe, my bet is they’ll launch this free at plan 3799 just like the 2 previous Galaxy phones… that’s if my memory serves me right.
itachi1 says:
IMHO, it depends on your needs. If you need a bigger screen and all those drawing stuff, go for the Note. If you need a quad-core, hi-res beast, then go for the S3. Also, it’s possible that they will accept pre-orders sa Business Center although there’s a chance they may just refer you to the website as well.
@Sir Abe, I’m thinking this will be offered at Plan 3799 just like the first two Galaxy Ss… that’s as far as i recall. Kinda hard to tell since at times their online offers are lower than those in the stores.

IMO, it depends on what you want in a phone. If you want a larger screen and drawing apps, go for the Note. If you want a quad-core hi resolution beast, go for the S3.
