  1. first!

  2. second!

  3. 32 gb version?

  4. I thought it was basag!

  5. Wala pa ata sa site ng globe.

  6. Let me guess… 30 months lock-in period?

Note: LG din gagagwa ng NEXUS 5 (2013 edition)

    • Hi Sir THeo, paano niyo po nasabing panget?? May G2 po ba kayo?

    • I can give you a good answer :) i have an LG G2. It’s been with me for almost 2 weeks. LG G2 has not failed me yet. battery wise, i dont care whether it’s removable or not.. G2’s battery lasts the whole day, even with heavy internet surfing. The rear key is also a huge difference, that is really a plus to any smartphone user. camera is also very nice, so i dont bring any camera with me anymore. if you are looking for a gadget to invest, then I recommend LG G2.

    • Hi Sir Brix, thank you for your response. I consider myself a fan of LG G2 and i really want to have one. Checking on it specs, this phone really amazes me. I just couldn’t imagine why Sir THeo posted such comment and i am really interested to know the disadvantages of having LG G2 since i do not have one yet.. :)

    • Hi. May improvement kaya?

    • @Ruth,

    • Sakin naman parang I don’t see the necessity to root it. This phone is just amazing. Can play HD games smoothly. Multi-tasking is a breeze. Partida wala pa akong nakafreeze na apps nyan + no reboots needed. This is indeed a MONSTER Phone. :D

LOL!!!

ANONG SINASABI MO?

FIRST OF ALL ANG LG G2 has CUSTOM LG SOFTWARE na naka OPTIMUS UI AT ANG NEXUS AY NAKA STOCK AOSP ANDROID 4.4 KITKAT.. SOBRANG LAYO NG SOFTWARE NILA.. U HAVE THE HEAVILY TWEAKED LG AND THE STOCK NEXUS AOSP 4.4 KITKAT.. JIZZZ… DONT COMPARE APPLES TO ORANGES. AND AFAIK LAHAT NG CUSTOM SOFTWARE NG DIFFERNT PHONE BRANDS MAY FLAWS! GOOD THING THERE’s OVER THE AIR UPDATES TO FIX THOSE FLAWS.. SO ANG IMPORTANTE LNG NMN TLGA DITO IS UPDATES TO FIX KUNG ANO MAN SINASABI MONG PROBLEM NA YAN!

      HAYYYY BASA BASA DIN!

    • hindi naman ahh imbento lg gnun?

    • Hi Theo, i suggest you visit the malls, and try the G2 for yourself. you’ll be impressed. i just walked in LG concept store in megamall, after exploring phone for few minutes, i was convinced why they label it as the best smartphone today. napabili tuloy ako kahit di planado. will not every trade G2 for an iPhone which has nothing new in it. kung naghahanap ka ng bagong phone, na may new features and specs, i highly recommend G2.

  8. Global reviews on LG G2 were amazing and it wasn’t a surprise given the impressive specs on this “MONSTER PHONE”

    • ang laki ng minura ng plan nila.! 1799-1399 :)

  9. The LG G2 features the world’s first rear key, the device’s only button, positioned at the back. This button switches the power on and off, activates QuickMemo, and camera use. AWESOME!

Pang selfie-selfie ba. :)

    • @ Asashi, i have an LG G2, there are a lot of reasons why lg g2’S Camera makes taking photos even more convenient. Ofcourse, you will not use the rear key to take photos all the time. G2’s camera can triggered using cheese shutter or the home keys in front. Rear key button for camera is ideal for selfies. OIS camera is also a very useful camera feature, even im in a moving bus, can still take clear pictures. just sharing!

  10. @Asahi, hahahaha. :)

  11. LG G2 becomes the first smartphone completely devoid of buttons on the sides.
    i want this phone :D

  12. Source of news?

  13. @Brix, what about the front camera? Is it good?

  14. akala ku nung una basag.
    ahaha!
    .
    .
    .
    It’s freaking awesome!

  17. FINALLY!! A phone I can get behind and support!! NOW, when will Globe update their website to show the G2?

Anyone else hate the new Globe website? PV crap… errrrrrrrrr

  18. THIS WEEK IN TECH Before you buy POdcast gives this a heavy negative review:

    http://twit.tv/show/before-you-buy/90

And STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT BLOATWARES because some of those are actually useful to some people.. So kung ayaw mo ang software nila because it doesnt suit you edi wag simple as that..

Hahaha.

64 Gig ang bilin ninyo Class 10.

  20. 1799 = 24 months no Monthly cash out on the unit. 32GB version

    • **Correction: I meant no cash out on the unit on plan 1799 for 24-months. Just your advance one month payment for the plan.

  21. also Pakibasa nalang

    ^

    • I am VERY interested in the upcoming Nexus 5, BUT only if I can get it for the US Price of $299 or$399. It’s been reported the $399 Nexus 5 will have a bigger battery and more storage. There’s no way I’ll allow myself to get ripped off by the amateurs at Aeorphone. You enter their shop and it’s like, uh would you mind not texting your friends and take care of me and stop chewing that gum… eeeerrrrrr.

  22. I am using a g2 right now and as an actual user (and not just because I read it somewhere) I could say that it is a great device. Bloatwares are expected from a non-vanilla (nexus or play edition) but there are not much in the g2. But guess what, jellybean lets you disable these bloatwares.

The last phone I used was an s3 and that one had tons nore bloatware than the g2. I even installed custom ROM (paranoid android) into it. But for the g2, I’m not even thinking of installing custom rom (well, maybe just root to install greenify), but I dont want to lose features like double tap to wake up or sleep, qslide, qmemo.

I also love that the battery lasts twice as long as my s3. The only downside I see is the IPS screen, contrast is not as good as with the AMOLED.

    • Thanks Joe. I watched Chad’s Buy/Try on Twit.tv and I wish someone else had done this review. He is just one guy. He likes the buttons on the side. Who says the buttons SHOULD be on the side? That’s not true.

I haven’t held the G2 yet, but what got me interested in the 1st place was the Buttons on the Back. I think it’s a great idea. I have a GNEX (Had a Nexus 4… nice, but too much glass for an accident prone person such as myself) and I hate the buttons on the side. The phone slips out of my hands most of the time just by locking and unlocking said device. In Landscape Mode I’m always pushing the Power button inadvertently locking it up while watching a video.

I’m running CyanogenMod and I like it. Chad also complained about the Notification Window. I’d have to try that to see if I’d have the same complaint or not. I appreciate your point about using a Custom Rom, but not wanting to lose some of the cool features of the G2.

At 1799/month I think it”s a Fantastic deal…. 999 goes to unli data and the remaining 800 is consumable, Right? Wrong? If so the phone IS free!! Damn. I want it!

      Thnx again,
      FD

  23. Hi FD, the button position, it’s a matter of preference, really. Maybe what I dont like about it is I sometimes accidentally press on the camera lens (but I later learned to find the power button first – which is a bit embossed – and work my way from there).

I also used to drop my previous phone a lot because of the side buttons (partnered with a case that makes the buttons hard to press), so I guess the back buttons work for me overall.

Oh yeah, the notification window does annoy me because there is only about half of the window for actual notifications (even less if you leave qslide open). LG put everything they can in the notif window, the brightness and volume slider are always there without an option to remove them (or maybe I just havent found out how). But that’s not a deal breaker for me.

  24. I was considering LG G2 but ended up with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Based on the reviews from Youtube videos, both units are okay. No doubt that this is the best phone LG made so far.

But there are some problems with the G2
first of all, the knock knock feature doesn’t work 100%.

Built quality based on the drop test videos the LG G2’s screen shattered after 1 drop on the face. Samsung Note 3’s screen shattered after 2 drops :)

You can check out Android Authority Drop test on youtube.

On the good note, the back button works extremely well.

I just opted for the Note 3 since I have a Note 2 and I do use the S-pen a lot.

    • You cant compare g2 and note3. The former is a smartphone while note3 is phablet. Personally, i can only go as big as smartphone because they can still fit inside my pants pocket.

    • Hi Glen, i agree with your opinion on the rear button. it works well with me. it is actually the best feature of the phone. about comparing it to note 3 , there’s a big difference with the price of both units. so, for me, LG G2 is a better deal. espcially now, nakita ko na meron na silang postpaid plans sa mall c/o globe. just my thoughts!

  25. Ang yayabang niu akala niu nman mayron kau nian, cge nga post niu resibo ng binili niu with ur names on it if meron, wala for sure, tyak nakahipo lang kau sa mall nian buwahahahah.
