Globe transitions to digital bill delivery starting Sept. 1

Globe has announced via SMS that it will be transitioning to digital bill delivery starting September 1, 2016.

Globe says that the transition to digital bill delivery allows the subscriber to receive their bills “in a faster, more convenient and secure way.” Digital billing is not new though, as the company has been offering digital bills but only as an option.

With the new implementation, the monthly billing, by default, will be sent exclusively via email and SMS. Those who prefer to receive their paper bills via courier are required to register via SMS and will be charged a monthly fee of Php50.

    They will charge Php50 for paper billing, hence they should rebate subscribers they migrate to paperless Php50 every month.

    Hmm…this is okay with me, though perhaps the additional fee for something like this is a bit high. Sometimes, a hard copy of the bill is still needed.

    ngayong taon lang ba ang full implimentation ng digital paperless billing ng globe?
    kung hind ako nagkakamali, halos dalawang taon na akong may paperless billing para sa aking globe tattoo home lte.

      Messengers who deliver the paper bills are outsourced. Hence, they will not lose their jobs since there are other companies who still use their services like credit cards and cable/satellite TV services.

    Im fine with this… What I dont like are the spam emails (ads emails) that comes with it…

      sa experience ko, isang email kada buwan ang natatanggap ko mujla sa globe customer support.
      sa email na ito, may isang adobe pdf link na kailangang i-open o idownload para malaman ang globe bill.

      so far, wala pa akong natatanggap na spam email mula sa globe.
      spam calls mula sa globe agents na nag-ooffer ng globe smartphone post paid plans ang aking natatanggap pagkatapos kong magbayad ng aking monthly lte bill. ;)

    if my memory serves me right, lagpas dalawang taon na ang globe paperless billing. (globe tattoo lte ako)
