PLDT intros half-price deal on DSL Fam Plan

The Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) on its website makes available a half-price deal for its DSL Fam Plan which applies on your broadband bill for a year. Check out the pricing along with other freebies after the break.

Plan 990 – from Php990 to Php495
Plan 1299 – from Php1,299 to Php649.50
Plan 999 – From Php999 to Php499.50
Plan 1995 – from 1,995 to Php997.50
Plan 3000 – from Php3,000 to Php1,500

There’s also a 1 year free Speed Boost for the following plans according to the company:

In addition to all those, installation will come free (worth Php1,100) together with a free Wi-Fi modem (worth Php1,200).

The promo is for the nearing holidays and interested customers may switch to DSL Fam Plan at their website.

nag apply ako mga last week ng december,
then khapon lang ako nakatanggap ng tx from pldt
kinoconfirm pa ung application namin ,then nanghingi lang ng other contact number,

kami naman mga DSL user ang dagdagan niyo ng speed, aba, yung mga fiber user ay halos the same lang binabayaran namin pero sa speed naman ay x5-10 ang speed na nakukuha nila kumpara sa amin, gusto niyo di magsipaglipatan mga customer niyo, alalahanin nyo naman kami, ilang milyong customer nyo ang gumagamit ng dsl connection niyo, para di kami magsipag lipatan ay dagdagan niyo naman ang mga speed namin

Lock in period of two years, once the first year is done you will pay the FULL amount the year after. They are trying to horde as much money as they can when Telstra is just a year away.

For new subscribers lang to. Walang upgrade sa mga existing subscribers na katulad ko. 1299 pa rin binabayad ko para sa 2mbps

Kahit mismong website nung pldt walang mechanics. So switchers lang ba from other broadband ang may advantage? Kung ganon, kawawa naman current subscribers nila. Wala na ngang discount, wala pang speed boost.

I believe I’ve seen this promo even longer. I applied about 3 weeks ago through their website but up to now no reply. I went to PLDT office along East Ave 2 weeks ago and they did not know anything about it until I argued that it was already posted in their official PLDT Home page. They researched inside but there were no clear mechanics. Up to now, no call nor email.
