Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company or PLDT is offering a cheaper plan of their LTE home broadband service Ultera for just Php699 per month.

The Ultera Fun Plan 699 gives you speeds of up to 3Mbps with 30GB monthly volume. The plan is aimed for those who are looking for a cheap and light internet service at home. Additionally, they’re including free subscription to iFlix, Pinoy Blockbuster, and Spinnr when you opt to apply.

    After 1 week of using plan 699 I’ve already reached the cap ang it refreshes now I had a bill of php924 I don’t know if it’s still counting or not.
    Does this mean that I will still pay for every additional MB I spent?
    Still at first week though.

      Naku kua mag sisisi ka kapag ginamit mo ultera na yan kami po ay naka plan SA kanila 2 years ang 3-4 months na SA unang taon maganda ang quality ng iyong net then the following years hirap at pasakit na po…. Better na kumuha ka ng ma’s mataas kesa dito SA ultera kasumpa sumpa ang speed mg net nila …kua matagal KO na gamit ang ultera at Hindi KO irerekomenda sayo na I avail mo ito ….

    Pldt Ultera 699 ang cut off ay every 10th Of the month…more than two weeks lng ang gamit ko ng 30GB consumable na…so zero GB na.ina unplug ko ung internet ko tapos waiting ako until cut off walang internet. 10th of the month pinlug ko ung internet wifi and try bka meron na connection…nkita ko wala parin.,pinatay ko ulit ang wifi at inantay ang sumunod n araw 11th day of the month dun meron na connection….nagcheck agad ako sa account ko ng usage nkita ko ung 10th day kung saan araw ng cutoff meron akong usage na 2 thousand plus mbps…bkit po gnun diba po zero usage un.kya nauubos agad ang 30GB ko kc khit wala kng gamit o nagamit ,merong usage? ano po ibig sabihin nito pldt ultera 699?

    Wag na kaung magpakabit ng ultera lalo na ung 999.. Nung una may capping aq 1 gb a day tapos iisipin mo kung 1 gb a day so 30 gb lang consumed mo..asan ang 20gb…wala na db…ngaun nagrequest aq na bkit ganun dapat walang capping kc plan 999 nga aq,eh ung ginagawa nila for 699 lang na 30 gb…so nireklamo ko, aun ginawa nmn nilang walang capping so its 5mbps tapos 50 gb…ngaun mas nabwisit aq kasi ung 50 gb nila 14 days mo lng magagamit..tapos icucut n nila kasi naconsumed na dw kuno o bka nmn ninanakaw nila ung 50 gb.so antay kapa n marefresh at mabayaran mo ung bill moin a month isipin mo,nga-nga ka kasi 14 days palang la kana net w8 mo pa mabuo isang month.lugi lalo,,

    yung plan 999 ko sbi ng agent 999 lang bbayaran ko every month un pla hindi naging 1248.99 bill ko monthly the worst pa gusto kuna ipaterminate kaso need pang bayaran ang remaining months na almost 1year sa contract na 36months..madelayed kalang ng bayad ng 1-2month restricted na agad internet mo ang nakakatuwa tuloy-tuloy parin bill mo kahit d mo nagamit ang 1month ang internet mo due to unpaid bills..nakakainis nagsasayang magbabayad ka ng bill na hindi mo naman napakinabangan!
    Gusto ko sana magpalit ng plan 699 kaso based sa inyong feedback eh PANGET Pala..

      –> Create a myhome id, Once nasa register to myhome page ka na po, just fill up the information needed the click register. (don’t forget to link to your pldt account, add nyo lang po yung account number/SRN ng pldt ultera nyo)
      After that you can freely check/monitor your data usage from time to time (just simply visit pldt site and log in to your home account. . .

    Mag pa connect na sana ako last Saturday dahil may instruction na galing Manila For 699 PLDT Home Bro Ultera kaso walang dumating sa amin na crew na mag install, ako poy taga Butuan City, specifically sa Libertad. When i read of the different comments parang nalito ho ako. Sabi pa nga ng Arkons isang accredited installer ng PLDT tatlong tower lang nila ang may LTE signal dito sa Butuan City the hub of Caraga, ano ba yan, ako malayo daw sa signal ng LTE kasi sabi niya ang may LTE activated tower ay nasa Banagay Villa Kanangga mga 3 Kms ang layo sa amin sa Libertad. Ang required radius daw is only 2.8 Kms. , sa akin almost 3 Kms. Paki improve naman ang services natin dahil believe pa naman ako sa PLDT.

    Tanong ko po 4 days plng kmi installan ng home ultera plan 699 ang sabi samin pwede kmi mg surf pati youtube basta wag mg download dhil may coping ng 1 gig a day. So akala nmin contrlolled nmin yung usage dahil pag naubos yung 1 gig n yun e 4 am p mg rerefresh ulit. Bakit ngayon bngyan kmi ng notification n nanconsumed n nmin angn 90% ng monthly allocation. So in 4 days naubos n ang 27 gig? Kala ko b me coping na 1 gig to limit the usage bakit ganun?

    This is inform that one of your service called up Last November 19, 2016 that informing to install the ULTERA on November 20, 2016 but i efuse to do so because no one in the house that time instead i requested on Monday November 21, 2016 but when i call up the hotline i found out that the next schedule will be November 28, 2016. and no one called me up the matter. I a sure you that time is nobody in the house because of school time… call me for the clarification….

    Ok sana ung net, kaso nasira ung modem, tinawag ko agad sa customer service nila, then nangako ng schedule para mapuntahan ng techincian at mapaltan ung modem, pero walang dumating, tumawag ulit ako, at biglang sabi nila na wala pa raw unit, after 1 week nangako nanaman ng schedule, pero as I expected, ganun nanaman, walang dumating, tinawagan ko ulit at katulad nung una, wala nanaman daw unit, almost 3 weeks na wala pa rin replacement. sorry pero “PUTANG INA MO PO PLDT” kelangan ko ng internet, puro kayo hingi ng pasensya, di ko kelangan nyan!     wag na kayong mag apply sa pldt! nanloloko ng customer… ang sabi nila mapapabilis ang internet namin pag nag upgrade, di sila nag explain ng mabuti. ang nangyari madali maubos ang 30gb, 2 weeks pa lang wala na kaming net at dapat ng bumili ng booster para magkaroon ng connection. di katulad noon na after na ma consume yung daily allocation babagal lang at kinaumagahan meron na naman. ngayon totally ng di maka internet at mag hihintay ng another weeks para magreplenish.. hay naku! nag advice sila na idowngrade na lang kasi 30gb ay dapat 699 pero ako 999 ang binabayaran ko pero di nila madowngrade downgrade at may bayad pang 500. pero pag upgrade porque pabor sa kanila isang click lang upgrade na…. sa iba na lang kayo kumuha. bulok! hanggang ngayon 999 pa rin ang binabayaran ko na dapat 699 lang based sa plan nilang 30gb lang.

      Activation fee siguro yan at payable ninyo modem, hinati hati kasi yan, kaso hindi na nila iniexplain na inyo. ganyan ang patakaran pag broadband ganyan din sa globe, pag ma complete nyona yong amount ng modem at activation saka na kayo mag monthly ng 699.

Atleast 4 devices were installed, no youtube streaming, just fb and google surfing plus 17Mb of game download, I called the hotline this morning and check how much data I used since yesterday and i was shocked when I found out i already used 3.16GB.     It’s not totally 699 when you call to there customer service and ask for the details of that Plan, the customer service will tell you that there will be a device fee of 300 pesos. So when you add the 699 internet + 300 device fee then it is equal to 999 pesos monthly. The 300 pesos device fee is valid for 36 months

    After 3 days nag-a-average na lang kami sa 1.2 mbps. Di man lang sya nagpabibo ng matagal. We are light users, disenteng speed lang hanap namin, negative talaga.

    And do you know when this 699 started? Grabe January 25 ata kami nagpakabait 999 pa, tapos biglang 699.

    Ultera user here. So far ok naman sya (pwera usog pero wla pa namang major No Internet issue di tulad ng Sky Cable na pag minalas ka na nagka systems issue sa area nyo eh deads ka na), di naman ako masyado mag download. While there is a cap, if basic surfing lang ok na to.

      For heavy users, obviously this plan is not suitable for you.

      Yes it is. I’ve turned around on data caps. I’ve realized, that I didn’t need 50 gigs of movies, games and porn. So I’m seriously considering availing of this promo if it’s available in my area.
