Globe Telecom will start accepting pre-orders of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 today with the Platinum Subscribers getting first dibs on the handsets which will be offered in various plans.
We received an early copy of the pricing and postpaid plans. Here are the basic ones under a typical 24-month contract:

Handsets will be available by April 11 but only the black and the white colors will be available for the 16GB variant (no 32GB).
There are other lock-up periods available — 6, 12, 18, 24 and 30 months. The plan pricing above is for the 24-month period.

I’m really excited about this. The speed of the Galaxy S5 plus the unlimited 2G data from Globe… just perfect. Btw, it also has 3GB per month worth of High speed data and/or LTE (subject to network coverage).
