Text “UNLISURF 200” to 2200 (for Unlisurf 200 – 5 days unlimited)

Bert says:
My experiences with these telcos:
Smart – 1kbps… as in gapang.
Sun – Yeah mabilis, pero bakit reconnect nang reconnect?
Globe – WCDMA sa araw, 2G sa gabi… Dinidiscourage ang night surfing.
SwagBucks Tricks says:
Thanks for the information. I was wondering why I didn’t receive a response from smart when I texted “Unlisurf 100” to 220. I didn’t realize that the right number was 2200.
Thanks again for this post!
marxman says:
actually guys no matter what isp you choose, the speed, consistency of connection, etc will be dependent on the base station you’re connecting. Simply if the base station is only 2g or even if it’s hspa but always congested then don’t expect to get a good internet experience.
I’m using smartbro plug it and it’s very good in our area however there are only times when speed drops to 400 kbps but it seldom happens. Maybe only once in a week usually at 7 pm onward.
Oscar says:
smart’s speed is the worst. the tech support is stupid also. even the bosses of tech support is also dumb asses.
HP Toners says:
I just borrowed my officemate’s Smart Bro plugit today to test if the signal is okay in our area.
If so, I’ll buy my own and try out that unlisurf200 especially on weekends.
Hypatia says:
i’m using globe tattoo. mabilis naman ang speed dito sa cebu. dapat hinintay ko nalang ang smart, mahal pa naman bili ko dito sa globe…
Pipo says:
Sana may one day unlimited.
h20 says:
I tried it but smart won’t register me even though I have 104 balance in my account…weird…can somebody tell me why?
Cliff Rosario says:
That’s weird.. I use a Smart Bro Plug It Prepaid and I can get a decent 1 to 1.5mbps(HSDPA) here in QC near eastwood city anytime though there are days where I barely go beyond 500kbps(HSDPA).. But I enjoy using it with streaming videos from mysoju, viikii or youtube… I download torrents occasionally and it’s ok for me with speeds bumping to 2mbps(HSDPA) sometimes but it’s generally along the 1-1.5mbps(HSDPA) range.. I run a notebook with Win7Ultimate 64-bit..
However, with the feedback here.. I might buy a Globe Tattoo kit..

Guys, what’s the difference between the smart buddy prepaid sim card & the smart bro prepaid sim card? Can i use the sim cards for both cellfone(calling/texting) ang PC(surfing the net)?
Which sim card(smart buddy or smart bro) would you recommend for me to buy?
TIA guys!
mr.bogusmobile says:
kung sa manila k lng naman, mag sun ka!
Pero kung out of town tiis ka s smart kc tlgang nationwide coverage ng signal nila kesa s globe… Kht mabgal atleast meron. Kung tlgang ayaw mo maghanap k n lng ng internet shop, wifi hotspot
Smart Broke says:
Smart + broke = Smartbroke..
Jam says:
This is good news. Although, I have already subscribed to their plan 999, it’s much cheaper especially for a regular internet user like me.
manny says:
so what you guys are saying, is that different telcos have different strengths, depending on the area?
what works well in cebu?
islacom says:
iPad 3G user here using smartbro and smartbuddy prepaid sims, cut for the iPad Microsim, Smart is the only network you can register via web connect for unlisurf 50 for buddy and unlisurf 100 or 200 for smartbro, if Sun and Globe would have this service, the problem is the only way you can register for sun and globe is through text, lets face it if you don’t avail of the unlisurf for the iPad 3G, mobile internet browsing will cost a lot.
Yet to try Globe. Happy with smart here @ my location.
frenchy says:
I never experience a good Smart broadband connection so far. It’s Globe broadband that is better in our area. I guess we cannot really expect a consistent good connection on wireless internet for obvious reasons, at least not at this time.
Nonaho says:
Globe is the fastest but not consistent in speed as well it is not well distributed in terms of speed like when i browse it really sucks but when i use it for torrent and for vidoes streaming its very fast, its weird.
Smart really sucks! although its fast at a certain time only, actually i wasted a 5 day unli thats why it really sucks!!!!! then i never load my smartbro.
Sun is reliable but not consistent in speed as well not as fast compare to Globe.
Im using Windows 7 and i tried them all in some areas in Manila and in Makati, actually i only use Globe for downloading torrent files and also for streaming videos, my sun is for browsing only.
Jay says:
Well, Im stick to my GLOBE Tattoo Bcoz eto lang yung may Signal sa may Bulacan. Smart mahina signal and ang SUN naman walang signal dun.
maze says:
@dan, you POS grammar nazi

Jiro Yan says:
SUN and Globe is the best.
dan says:
*suck – look up subject verb agreement. :D

Have you ever tried the 1 day unli in smart bro? I’m not sure if it is still working right though…
just send “Unli 50” send to 211. Viola, 1 day unlimited internet.
It works for both Smart Buddy and Smart Bro.
denzy says:
sun broadband sim s ipad ko, superfast!
Lezuric says:
lol! they just both sucks in my area.. QUEZON Prov.. :P
charlie says:
sun sucks big time in las pinas area. it’s painfully slow that i’m about to smash the usb dongle into smithereens out of frustration.
Ruben umali says:
Smart signal sucks bigtime in mandaluyong, i preffer globe or sun.
Dante says:
Otherwise, they cut the “capping” thingy I will go back to smartbro. Sun is definitely better than smart :)
chintoguy29 says:
I would rather stick with my Sun Broadband Wireless. its much faster than Smart Bro. Smart’s services are getting worse.
