We’re a few days into the new year, and Smart has already made a big announcement for its prepaid segment by offering the MyPhone my28 for a price less than half of its SRP.
For a phone normally offered at a Php2k price range, the telecommunications company will boldly offer the phone at a tempting offer, in an attempt to get feature phone users and those who do not use 3G/LTE onboard the mobile internet segment.

From the usual SRP of Php1,999, The MyPhone my28 will be offered on select Smart stores and its online shop for a one-time payment of Php888 with a free Smart Prepaid sim containing seven days free Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Added perks include free 100MB of mobile data per month, as well as an additional Php30 load if you top up at least Php100 per month. These data and rebate offers are good for a year only upon SIM activation.
A free TNT SIM with Unlimited all-net texts for 2 days and free internet surfing to Facebook, Twitter and Viber for 7 days is also bundled alongside the Smart Prepaid SIM kit. The first SIM slot is locked exclusively to the telco network, and you can use your existing Sun SIM on the second slot, according to the promo FAQs.
