Been using this 27-inch Asus Designo MX IPS monitor for about a month now and mostly using it when I play Starcraft 2.
The slim profile (17.5mm) and impressive design makes it one of the rarest monitors we’ve tried to date. The bezel is actually very thin with an edge-to-edge display panel.
At the back, the Designo MX has a couple of HDMI ports and a single VGA port (for backward compatibility).
The matte black profile is accented by a strip of silver panel at the bottom corner of the front panel. This is where the controls and menu are located as well as the etched logo of Bang and Olufsen.
At the side of the monitor are a set of speakers, powered by Asus’ SonicMaster technology and co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio. These are the same tech they used in their high-end laptops laptops like the Zenbook.
While the speakers are crisp and clear, they still lack the power and bass needed when you want to watch action-packed movies or really need that oomph from an engaging PC gaming.
The Asus Designo MX isn’t available yet in the Philippine so we’re not sure how much it will retail once it arrives locally. We’re hoping it’s won’t be too much, probably under Php20k for the 27-inch model (they also have the 23-inch variant).
Update: I am just told that this model will have a suggested retail price of Php20,995USD 358INR 30,329EUR 341CNY 2,605.

This a one of the most beautiful monitor i have ever seen. and the no bezel thing is not fake unlike from other brands. I think its more of the a centerpiece rather than a performance monitor.
