So LG Philippines gave us some more time with their new Full LED 3D TV by letting us spend an overnight stay in their fully set-up hotel room in Astoria over the week-end.
While we can’t afford the Php270k price tag of this 55″ 3D TV, at least we got the chance to play around with it for 24 hours — watching Bluray movies, playing with the XBox 360 (left my PlayStation 3 at home) and watching a 3D demo (too bad we currently don’t have any 3D movies to watch this with, which is ironic since it’s really the 3D feature we’re excited about).
And did I mention we played Starcraft 2 with this 55-inch TV? Asus Philippines sent us one of their gaming laptops which we used to run Starcraft 2 and wirelessly stream the video to the LED TV.
I also brought my HDX Media Player so we can watch some of the 1080p movies I’ve downloaded before, including Avatar (and I have to say, it’s way way better on a Full LED TV).
Despite the Php269,990 price tag, I can’t believe a lot of people have already made reservations for this 3D TV which will be publicly available this September. But if you have the money to burn, why not spend it on one of these babies?

yeah olats ang cable sa mga big hi-def TVs. mas lalo na pag destiny. :P
Do you know when skycable will broadcast in 16:9 aspect ratio? Watching standard cable sucks on an lcd.
Wow sarap buhay ni Sir Abe..hehe nice
waaah.. sarap gamitin nun, 55″.. kainggit naman..
Awesome, but 3D technology will always be a flop and never go mainstream unless they get rid of the glasses.
Wow! Although I’m already happy with my LG Scarlett :)
