First announced back in March, the LG Infinia LX9500 is said to be the world’s first full LED 3D TV. LG Philippines has tipped us of the suggested retail price when the unit arrives in the Philippines this September.
The unit is very slim and sleek — just 22.3mm on the side. Works great as a flat 2D Full HD TV but does better as a 3D TV (when content permits) using active 3D glasses. There are two models — one in 47″ and another in 55″.
And since you’d want to hang this up on the wall, the unit comes with a wireless AV box (see photo below) which hooks up to the 3D TV wirelessly. The AV box can then be placed at the back, inside the closet or behind the sofa so you don’t see any wires at the back of the TV. Attach the box to your PlayStation 3 or Blu-Ray player and start watching movies or playing games on TV or hook up a WiFi dongle on the USB port at the back of the TV and you’re set to surf YouTube and other channels.

enzo says:
that’s a wow! but i still can’t afford the price. Well, at least it looks sexy. i thought SAMSUNG Brought in the worls’s first 3D LED TV? Just askin…
Alfonso Martinez says:
wow! that slim with full LED backlighting? Sammy’s and Sony’s could only achieve that with dynamic edge lit. Is there any lag though with the wireless signal? with the advent of motion controlled games, rhythm and twitch fest FPS, seems like every millisecond counts
Alfonso Martinez says:
@enzo I think this is the worlds first full backlit array 3DLED tv with local dimming. If im not mistaken, the backlit 3Dtv’s of Sony arent out yet, both Sony and Sammy I think only offer edge lit 3D tv’s
Alfonso Martinez says:
I really cant tell with the pictures, but is it a glossy or none reflective type front panel for the screen?
Arvee says:
That’s… sexy! :)
Jiro Yan says:
Wow!!! Its like buying a 2nd hand car.
GreenGem says:
@Alfonso – Which one is better?
Full backlit LED or Edge- LED TV?
emay says:
I read somewhere that’s it’s a FULL LED SLIM (not EDGE) 3d TV. That’s like, wow! So I guess it’s really slimmer than the others?! When will it be out? And where do i make a reservation? Does it only come in 55″?

Thank you I will stay tuned.
3d LED TV says:
To produce 3D moving pictures several techniques are used for instance, Anaglyphic 3D, Polarization 3D, Auto stereoscopic displays and Alternate-frame sequencing. In recent televisions auto stereoscopic technology is used as it is without glasses and headgear. To view the 3D chain program glasses are considered as inadequate link, as with the advancement in technology, a special technique (Auto stereoscopic) is being used for screens and monitors which would facilitate the image separation for each eye.
