Apart from 4K HDR TVs, Sony also showcased the 2016 series for their Full HD and HD BRAVIA television for the Philippine market.
The BRAVIA W65D Series will come in three sizes starting at 40″ and will have a bigger 48″ and 55″ class models as well. It’s got a Full HD 1080p panel with Sony’s proprietary technologies like X-Reality Pro and Motionflow XR 240. For sound, the Clear Phase audio technology has it covered. There’s also support for major internet video services like YouTube and Netflix through the built-in Wi-Fi. Like the newer high-end 4K HDR models, it also has a cable management feature to keep your wires neat.
On the other hand, the BRAVIA W60D Series is a smaller version of the former series above coming at just 32 inches. Resolution is also dropped down to XWGA or 1280 x 800 pixels to fit the panel’s smaller size. It’s got a feature called X-Protection Pro from Sony which enhances the TV’s durability by protecting it against dust, lighting, surge, and humidity. The feature can also be found with the W65D.
Both the BRAVIA W65D and W60D Series is set to arrive in the Philippine market in May 2016. Pricing is not yet announced.
