Yes, globe was surprisingly efficient with streamwatch and with netflix. I got the code in 3 days.

I waited for 24 hours for the code to come, when it did not, I sent over the required information here: http://broadband.globe.com.ph/globestreamwatch-content.html (there is a link you’re supposed to click) amd and I received the code the next day

I got this because of the free Netflix, think about it the device at 999 is essentially free because of Netflix.

You can hate the (roku) device and not use it and you still have the free Netflix (3 months). Hooq is a bonus, it is getting pretty good lately.

So… if you are a globe dsl subscriber, this is a no brainer… go get it.

But really, being limited in content aside, the device is ok for its price.

Were you able to receive the netflix code immediately? Mine hasn’t been given by Globe yet. Been waiting for more than a week and calling them everyday to follow-up but I was just advised the same thing —to wait.
Netflix is also my main reason why I purchased this roku stick from Globe.

Ayusin nyo muna broadband connection nyo bago kayo mag-offer ng streaming box.
Regular browsing pa nga lang lagi na napuputol Globe DSL broadband eh.
Useless streaming box if laging may down time.

Be warned. Since it’s offered by Globe, it has a custom firmware as opposed to the generic one.
Di ka pwedeng mag-add ng channel aside sa existing na nilagay ni Globe and most of which are crap.
Maganda lang netflix, hooq, youtube and nba.
By the way, globe roku stick model is 3600. It has a quadcore processor.
    Pros:
    -Cheaper than unlocked roku stick.
-Comes with free 3 months subscription of netflix, hooq, disney, fox
    -surprisingly fast

    Cons:
-unable to add channels/app. Only Globe can do that since it has customized firmware.
-globe streamwatch app has no private listening mode. Official roku app(ios, android) is not available in the Philippines as of the moment.

Sabi sa ads nya you can watch 100+ channels. Walang fox . Kakareceive ko lang. How do i add some channels ba and pwede ba manood dito through typed websites?

You can download the official roku app from 3rd party sites..just google “roku apk”.

I should have found this review before I agreed to the subscription. The Globe loyalty agent completely scammed me for getting the device.
The only way you can get the channels is to pay for the subscriptions for additional fees.
I can’t even link my existing Netflix account — it is just stuck to an error code.
There was no option to simplify the channel list for an 80 year old to switch channels to easily.
