Xiaomi announces Laser Projector powered by Android

Adding to the long list of Xiaomi products is a laser projector that has, of course, Android onboard.

The Xiaomi Laser Projector is a short throw projector than can produce up to 150-inch of an image in 1080p resolution. It’s powered by Texas Instruments DLP ALPD 3.0 laser light source technology with 5,000 lumens of brightness, 3,000:1 contrast, and 85% NTSC coverage. The projector could last for up to 25,000 hours of usage.

It has a USB 3.0 port, three HDMI, built-in speakers, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It runs Android 6.0 with MIUI TV version on top. It’s powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

It’s listed on Xiaomi’s China website for just CNY 9,999PHP 80,601USD 1,374INR 116,416EUR 1,308 or about Php75k when directly converted.
