We’ve been getting reports from users in the past several days about the Globe iToolbar popping up again on their mobile phones and tablets. Even our old story from back in May 2012 has been revived with user feedback about it.
We have not encountered the toolbar ourselves until tonight when it mysteriously appeared on our laptop browser. Here’s a screenshot of the Globe iToolbar showing up on the Netvibes page (we’re tethered to a Globe iPhone 5).
It’s not showing on other pages except the Netvibes page. It eventually disappeared after a couple of page refresh. In any case, it now confirms the re-appearance of the widget that was previously scrapped by Globe.
Anybody else seeing the iToolbar lately?

Annoying toolbar. There’s a disable button, but it doesnt work. It comes back after browsing a few pages -_-. What’s more annoying is that everytime i start my browser, the toolbar’s welcome pop-up sign covers the entire page.

alternatively, you can use adblock extension/plugins depending on your browser. sure way to kill it without relying on the disable option of that annoying toolbar
Iyan Sommerset says:
Is it possible to manually block it via Flashblock, Adblock or hosts file (Windows) shenanigans?

nilagay ko sya sa URL block list ko. nag stopped yun for several months tapos bumalik ulit 2 weeks ago. baka bago na naman yung cookie URL.
Guus says:
I saw the code on Tattoo home testing websites. Apparently the code can ruin websites showing up properly. A very bad thing to do, messing with web pages by adding or changing stuff.
