The National Capital Region Police Office, aka NCRPO, has recently announced that the agency will be using social media (Twitter and Facebook) to make it easier for citizens to report injustices with better accuracy and less physical activity.
In line with this announcement, NCRPO head, Chief Superintendent Marcelo Garbo Jr. assigns the RTOIC (Regional Tactical Operation and Intelligent Center) to keep a close watch on the agency’s two social media accounts day-in and day-out. As such, Garbo is confident that all complaints will be addressed and acted upon in a timely manner.
Apart from their two social media accounts, NCRPO also launched their SMS platform called Subukan Niyo Po Kami. Through this, citizens can text the agency to raise their concern or report any crime which can be sent to these numbers: 0915-888-8181, 0999-901-8181.
Just to do a quick recap here are the different ways you can reach NCRPO:
Hotline: 117
Telephone: 837-2094, 837-2471 loc 743 (RTOIC)
SMS: 0915-888-8181, 0999-901-8181

Facebook: facebook.com/NCRPOReact
… And yet they persist on using high-contrast graphics and gradients that cause seizures. WTF.
I agree with you. They should hire a proper “graphics designer” for this kind of banner work. Graphics made by government agencies are always “seizure-inducing”.
