PLDT upgrades FIBR Lite plan with faster speed, larger data allowance

PLDT gave their FIBR Lite plan an upgrade now with faster connection and larger monthly data allowance.

PLDT’s FIBR Lite plan 1899 previously had an internet speed of 8 Mbps with a monthly data allowance of 50GB. The new plan now has 20 Mbps internet speed (same as FIBR Plan 3500) and a monthly allowance of 80GB.

I prefer a lower speed (say 10mbps -cheers dunkin) at an unli plan. Sayang ang chromecast ko. Aw.
At sana mas malawak na ang service area nila. May pambayad din kami!

mas ok kung 10mbps tapos no data cap.. mas makakuha pa sila ng market share nyan kesa nman sa ganyan

Fiber is supposed to be cheap and yet only premium villages have access to this technology.

What makes it expensive is replacing the existing infrastructure from copper to Fiber. ISPs have to buy new equipment, hire specialists to ‘splice’ the cable (as fiber optic splicing isn’t as easy as twisting two copper wires to form a connection) and dig trenches (or replace the telephone posts), and justify the cost of upgrading the area.

CONVERGE offering is still unmatched … NO CAPPING, NO ALLOWANCE, JUST PURE SIMPLE FAST RELIABLE UNLIMITED INTERNET with PURE FIBER OPTIC CABLE TECHNOLOGY …

Converge bullshit… Low area coverage, 1 month for someone to get back with me and tell me not covered… Another nonsense company.
