When you shop, whether online or offline, it normally involves shelling out money in exchange for the product that you want to have. It’s quite different though when it comes to ShopBack, as it not only lets you shop online, but also gives you cash every time you make a purchase.
To give you a quick background, ShopBack is a Singaporean-headed e-commerce company that utilizes the Cashback reward program. It has presence in the U.S., Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India. It is affiliated with over 300 merchants around the world including online retail giants including Zalora and Lazada Group.
As mentioned earlier, ShopBack’s Cashback model lets online shoppers earn cash when they purchase products from any of the partner merchants. The way it works is simple: The merchants reward ShopBack with a commission for referring customers to their site. ShopBack then shares the rewards with the customers in the form of cash.

To get started, you will need to register an account with ShopBack. It’s easy as you only need to register a valid e-mail address or sign up with Facebook. Once done, you can now browse through their catalog of online stores which also show the amount of Cashback you can receive depending on the tier. See image below.
Once you’ve selected your online store, ShopBack will then redirect you to the merchant’s website where you can shop as usual and make your purchase. If you like using coupon codes, you can do that as well, but take note that the Cashback will only be applicable on the final order value. Once you’ve made your purchase, the Cashback will be automatically added to your ShopBack account within 48 hours.
Once you have accumulated a minimum redeemable cashback of Php300.01, just fill out the payment details in your ShopBack account and you can now cashout your earnings via PayPal or your preferred bank (BDO, BPI, Metro Bank, East West Bank, China Bank, Security Bank, RCBC, UCPB, Gcash, Union Bank).
Your Cashback will be deposited in your selected bank account or PayPal account within 7-14 working days. Do note that you can only cashout at the end of every month.
As you can see, ShopBack improves your online shopping experience not just by providing you with deals and discounts but also by giving you the opportunity to earn back some of the money you’ve spent.
