For the last 3 days (since Saturday), my connection was either down or too slow to even send a proper email. So instead of running around looking for some decent connection, I decided to sit back and treat the last 2 days as some sort of a blogging break. It’s fine now though so I think everything’s back to normal. How was your internet lately?

Hay, sa Globe internet, ang pagddownload ng 35MB file eh umaabot ng 2 hours minsan more than 2 hours pa. Sayang lang ang binabayad kong P999./mo.

Fredz says:
@Jayb bro pano ba makokontak yung president ng globe mismo? Sobrang pangit ng connection ng globe connection ngayon , kungdi super bagal ng internet eh wala. laging dahilan samin system restoration, eh more than 1 month na yun di pa sila tapos sa area namin? I would like to unsubscribe na with their DSL service and want to apply na lang to other company kaso ang kakapal nilang magpabayad ng penalty gayung di naman napapakinabangan yung connection nila. my line of work is mostly in the internet peo naka Smart Broadband ako kasi super bagal ng globe sa ngayon. daig pa namin naka dial up sa sobrang bagal.
jayb says:
@Gregory… report mo direct sa Globe president mismo… i did it before…. now im happy…hehe
Gregory Ong says:
Here in Pamplona, Las Pinas, I’ve been experiencing very bad globe tattoo connection since last July 30th. I’ve been calling Globe customer service everyday and i get the same response “system enhancement at Pamplona area”. Is there any way to get Globe’s attention at all to my concern? I feel like it’s falling on deaf ears.
Tonskie says:
quite ok.. :)
Convert your PC into Satellite TV says:
slow internet connection was caused by the earthquake in Japan. We are lucky becuase our internet was not affected here in Qatar. But Last year the submarine cable for internet in mediteranean area was accidentaly cut and our internet was so much affected.
kAnGkEr says:
My connection is still bad. I’m experiencing slow connection until now. MyDestiny is getting poorer and poorer as time goes by. Tsk!
noemi says:
the connection was getting wonky at my home office.
Globe- slow
PLDT- okay but not as fast
then when I went to Cebu on thursday, I had free wifi at my hotel but it was so slow that I used my Globe tattoo which was even slower. I just started blogging last night.
Gerald says:
Using PLDTdsl. A few days before the quake our area went down.. so it was bad. After the quake PLDT took 4 days just to test everything and send someone to our house (the engineer was reluctant to go without me at home. this was very very perplexing since several engineers have tested the connection at our home with no concern if I was home). Anyway connection was back up again but downloading at a dreadful 11kbps and connection gets lost from time to time. Now that the problem caused by the quake has been fixed, my connection gets up to 50kbps. Still bad and still calling PLDT regarding this matter.
Pinoy NetBooks says:
My Internet connection is now back to normal.
Ton says:
THAT was a provider issue??? I thought it was my router. myDSL super slow for me (Marikina Area) for the past few days. Firefox would not even load home google screen (not even load persona skin). Erratic performance at best (better at day time).
philippinenotebooks says:
so slow. can’t stand how long it took for youtube videos to buffer up. in the office, blogsites such as blogspot were blocked to conserve network bandwith
Vance says:

Jill says:
SmartBro, no good! A true perennial crawler, really lived up to its name somewhere here in Davao City.
If the insomniacs ever fall prey to their additional free hour promo, you can pretty well conjure a marching band leading the kbps. As in a real s-l-o-o-w-w-m-o-o-o parade.
Locked-in SmartBro heavens, when will our troubles end? Waahh!!
pong_pagong says:
we have two line globe and pldt. Yung PLDT ok na since friday after the quake. Yung Globe…haayyy.. partida na yun nasa globe tower pa kami…. pangit!
Donna says:
sun broadband here. well, my connnection is fine now. compare nung may earthquake. umaabot na sya ngayon ng 500-700kbps so i can watch animes na. pero madaya pa din, dapat nga kahit 1000 umabot e kasi up to 2mbps ang promise nila. tsk2… pero ewan din a.. kasi pag andun ako sa ibang room, tsaka bumibilis ang net ko. haha. depende din ata kung saang room ako nagiinternet. haha @_@
sylv3rblade says:
My internet was pretty slow last thursday evening, after that everything’s smooth as silk. Back in the office things are still crawling :(
bisdaktech says:
SkyBroadband here. I don’t think their Internet was affected since my speeds were the same. Downloading movies was as fast as ever. he he he
RICHIE says:
IF CONNECTION WAS TOO SLOW THERE IN PHILIPPINES, SAME CAN BE SAID IN CHINA WHERE I AM.
HERE ARE MY EXPERIENCES WITH DIFFERENT BROWSERS:
INTERNET EXPLORER = MEDIUM SLOW
MOZILLA FIREFOX = SUPER SLOW (UNEXPECTED)
GOOGLE CHROME = SLOWER THAN USUAL
SAFARI = JUST LIKE IE.
DARN, I HAVE A 1 MBPS CONNECTION AND IT REALLY SUCKS.
UP TO NOW, INTERNET CONNECTION IS STILL NOT BACK TO NORMAL OR I WOULD SAY IT IS TAKING A LOT TIME TO BE FIXED.
IN AS MUCH I HATED I, CANT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
I WASN’T ABLE TO WATCH LIVE STREAMING YESTERDAY.
===========================
I TRIED USING FREE VPN, SOMEHOW IT ALLOWED ME TO CONNECT FASTER (SLIGHTLY). I DONT KNOW IF THAT IS A FACT, BUT IT REALLY DID.
call center agents philippines says:

Now it took a few seconds…
Jhay says:
I could hardly tell because I was offline the whole weekend for a volunteers’ training program.
As for last night, every thing was normal with Globe Broadband: slow and intermittent from 10pm onwards.
drealmarlon says:
